Periodistas bolivianos han denunciado un proyecto de ley que, seg\u00fan afirman, amenaza la libertad de prensa en el pa\u00eds al proponer mecanismos de control sobre los contenidos difundidos por los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n. La iniciativa, impulsada desde el Legislativo, establece que los medios privados deban presentar informes detallados sobre el tiempo y el espacio otorgado a los candidatos durante el proceso electoral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizaciones de prensa consideran que esta medida encubre intentos de censura y control previo, vulnerando derechos constitucionales y principios democr\u00e1ticos. Seg\u00fan los profesionales del \u00e1rea, la norma abrir\u00eda la puerta a la fiscalizaci\u00f3n editorial y podr\u00eda ser usada como instrumento de presi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El gremio period\u00edstico ha exigido el retiro inmediato del proyecto y ha convocado a la sociedad a mantenerse vigilante frente a cualquier intento de limitar el derecho a informar y ser informado.
