El pasado jueves, una comunidad en Beni fue devastada por un incendio que arras\u00f3 con m\u00e1s de 20 viviendas en la comunidad Nueva Generaci\u00f3n. El alcalde de Riberalta, Ciriaco Rodr\u00edguez, junto a una cuadrilla de ocho bomberos y algunos comunarios, intentaron frenar las llamas, pero sus esfuerzos fueron en vano. Las im\u00e1genes muestran a los residentes intentando enfriar los techos y paredes de sus viviendas con agua, mientras las llamas avanzaban sin control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El incendio comenz\u00f3 de manera repentina y, en cuesti\u00f3n de minutos, se propag\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente, consumiendo viviendas construidas con hojas de motac\u00fa seco. Las chispas saltaron de una casa a otra, y la desesperaci\u00f3n de los habitantes creci\u00f3 a medida que intentaban salvar sus pertenencias. A pesar de los esfuerzos, el fuego se sali\u00f3 de control y caus\u00f3 una gran p\u00e9rdida material y emocional para la comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las autoridades y los campesinos fueron testigos de c\u00f3mo las llamas se salieron de control y consumieron m\u00e1s de una veintena de viviendas. En el video que circula por las redes sociales, se puede observar la desesperaci\u00f3n de los residentes mientras intentan salvar lo que pueden. El alcalde Rodr\u00edguez y los bomberos hicieron todo lo posible para controlar el incendio, pero el fuego fue demasiado fuerte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El incidente ha generado una gran conmoci\u00f3n en la comunidad y ha puesto de relieve la necesidad de mejorar las medidas de prevenci\u00f3n y respuesta ante incendios en \u00e1reas rurales. Las autoridades locales han prometido investigar las causas del incendio y ofrecer apoyo a los afectados para reconstruir sus hogares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
