El presidente Luis Arce anunci\u00f3 el pasado 6 de agosto la realizaci\u00f3n de un refer\u00e9ndum en el cual se consultar\u00eda sobre la distribuci\u00f3n de esca\u00f1os, la subvenci\u00f3n de combustible y la reelecci\u00f3n presidencial. Respecto a la redistribuci\u00f3n de esca\u00f1os, el presidente del TSE, \u00d3scar Hassenteufel, en entrevista con Br\u00fajula Digital, indic\u00f3 que plantear en un refer\u00e9ndum un aumento autom\u00e1tico del n\u00famero de parlamentarios tras la realizaci\u00f3n de censos de poblaci\u00f3n y vivienda beneficiar\u00eda a Santa Cruz y otros departamentos que aumentan su poblaci\u00f3n, sin reducir las diputaciones de regiones. \u201cEn varios pa\u00edses del mundo, a medida que hay cambios demogr\u00e1ficos, tambi\u00e9n aumenta el n\u00famero de parlamentarios, pero sin afectar a las regiones que pierden poblaci\u00f3n\u201d, dijo Hassenteufel. Sobre la consulta acerca de la reelecci\u00f3n presidencial, el ministro de Justicia, Iv\u00e1n Lima, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que se busca evitar que quienes tienen una \u201cangurria de poder\u201d y \u201creclaman candidaturas de cualquier manera\u201d tengan la \u201c\u00faltima palabra\u201d en este tema. Sin embargo, aclar\u00f3 que la consulta en este refer\u00e9ndum no modifica el resultado del refer\u00e9ndum del 21 de febrero de 2016 (21F), que rechaz\u00f3 la repostulaci\u00f3n de Evo Morales, ni la Sentencia Constitucional 1010\/2023 del Tribunal Constitucional Plurinacional (TCP), que anul\u00f3 la reelecci\u00f3n indefinida. El vicepresidente Vargas dijo que tras la revisi\u00f3n de las listas de candidatos para las cuatro instancias del \u00d3rgano Judicial se constat\u00f3 que no cumplen con la paridad de g\u00e9nero en dos departamentos; por ello, el TSE realizar\u00e1 consultas a la Asamblea Legislativa Plurinacional antes de convocar a las elecciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
