Santa Cruz concentra la mayor cantidad de estos cr\u00edmenes, con 12 de las 20 muertes violentas reportadas entre agosto y la tercera semana de septiembre, en medio de la expansi\u00f3n de organizaciones criminales vinculadas al narcotr\u00e1fico.El medio atribuye parte de la escalada a la disputa entre el Comando Vermelho y el Primer Comando de la Capital (PCC) de Brasil por el control del negocio de las drogas, tras la captura del uruguayo Sebasti\u00e1n Marset.
