Velasco era entonces candidato a la Vicepresidencia por la alianza Libre, mientras Cerimedo se desempe\u00f1aba como asesor de la campa\u00f1a de Paz.Cerimedo lo llam\u00f3 en tono de burla. \u00abUna vez me llam\u00f3 por tel\u00e9fono solamente para burlarse de m\u00ed, que hab\u00eda ganado las elecciones\u00bb, afirm\u00f3, y cit\u00f3 la frase que le dijo: \u00abViste c\u00f3mo se ganan elecciones, pibe\u00bb.
