La medida, anunciada por el alcalde C\u00e9sar Dockweiler, implicar\u00e1 que esos motorizados no podr\u00e1n cargar combustible en estaciones de servicio y forma parte del plan para recuperar recursos tributarios para el municipio.Seg\u00fan la autoridad edil, existen numerosos casos de veh\u00edculos vendidos hace 10 o 20 a\u00f1os solo con minuta de transferencia y que nunca cambiaron de titularidad, por lo que la deuda sigue a nombre del propietario original. Dockweiler inform\u00f3 que la Administraci\u00f3n Tributaria Municipal (ATM) notific\u00f3 masivamente cerca de 400.000 procesos de liquidaci\u00f3n y resoluciones sancionatorias en julio, a trav\u00e9s de prensa nacional, celulares y correos registrados, y que el Perdonazo Tributario de la Ley 573, ampliada por la Ley 611, concluy\u00f3 el 31 de julio de 2026 sin nueva pr\u00f3rroga.Como alternativa para los deudores, el alcalde anunci\u00f3 gestiones con la Asociaci\u00f3n de Bancos (Asoban) y la ASFI para implementar el programa \u00abYo te lo pago\u00bb, que facilitar\u00e1 cr\u00e9ditos para que contribuyentes con mora por inmuebles, veh\u00edculos y actividades econ\u00f3micas puedan regularizar sus obligaciones mediante planes de pago.
