Durante una entrevista concedida al periodista V\u00edctor Hugo, Pacheco afirm\u00f3 que, contrario a las versiones oficiales que hablaban de un solo aprehendido, en realidad se mantuvieron retenidas a nueve personas, entre ellas cuatro ciudadanos brasile\u00f1os y funcionarios de la aduana y el aeropuerto. Seg\u00fan el legislador, las autoridades policiales habr\u00edan liberado a los sospechosos a pocas horas del operativo y habr\u00edan permitido que el avi\u00f3n ch\u00e1rter involucrado abandonara el pa\u00eds de inmediato, evidenciando un presunto encubrimiento orientado a proteger a los verdaderos propietarios de la carga. \u200b En esa misma l\u00ednea, Pacheco cuestion\u00f3 la destituci\u00f3n del director de Navegaci\u00f3n A\u00e9rea y Aeropuertos Bolivianos (NAABOL) en Santa Cruz tras oponerse a la salida irrestricta de la aeronave, y confirm\u00f3 que formaliz\u00f3 una denuncia penal contra altos mandos de la FELCC y de la Polic\u00eda por ordenar la liberaci\u00f3n de los implicados. Asimismo, alert\u00f3 sobre la fuga hacia Brasil del joven de 22 a\u00f1os se\u00f1alado como \u00fanico detenido, quien fue trasladado fuera del territorio nacional el mismo d\u00eda en que fue beneficiado con libertad provisional.
