El Ministerio de Econom\u00eda defiende que la medida solo \u201cordena la realidad\u201d porque en los hechos el d\u00f3lar paralelo ya se mov\u00eda hasta en 20 bolivianos y dominaba precios, inflaci\u00f3n y remesas. El Gobierno apunta a frenar la especulaci\u00f3n y recuperar confianza. Con una sola cotizaci\u00f3n oficial, asegura que se reducir\u00e1 la incertidumbre, se estabilizar\u00e1n precios y las remesas de m\u00e1s de 1.000 millones de d\u00f3lares volver\u00e1n al sistema financiero porque \u201cahora rendir\u00e1n lo que realmente valen\u201d.
