En su primera intervenci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, el presidente del BCB, David Espinoza Torrico, revel\u00f3 que las pol\u00edticas econ\u00f3micas heredadas del gobierno anterior han llevado al pa\u00eds al borde de una crisis financiera, con reservas que han descendido de 6.468 millones de d\u00f3lares en 2019 a apenas 1.709 millones en 2023, y una parte significativa de esas reservas convertidas en oro en bancos del extranjero. La situaci\u00f3n se agrava ante la escasez de divisas l\u00edquidas, que en 2023 se redujeron a solo 166 millones de d\u00f3lares, poniendo en jaque la estabilidad cambiaria y las obligaciones externas.
